For this presentation I had to do it with a partner, which i enjoyed as you got to learn what their view were on the chosen genre which was Drama. From this presentation I learnt how to analyse how different movies met the conventions of the genre that it was in. Learning this would be easier for me in the long run as I would need it in the long term.

Doing this presentation I learnt all of the different types of genres that there are and also including their sub genres. I also learnt what thing that I should expect from a certain type of film e.g. Drama film- love, violence, comedy etc. This is why I think that I have learnt new things from doing this presentation.
After i had done the presentation my teacher Ms Connell gave me comments about my presentation (WWW- what went well) (EBI- even better if). I think that the comments that she gave me were really good as it would help me improve on future presentations

Media Key Terms Sheet

From having this Media Key Terms sheet, I would be able to know what the key terms are for the Media Studies course for me to be able to succeed and pass the course. This sheet is also very helpful as before I started the course I knew very few of any of the key terms.

First Post on Starting Media AS course

I am very excited to be starting this course as I have always been very interested in media, and the fact that I am doing a Media AS is great. Doing this course I hope to lean many new and interesting things and hope to learn and develop new skills.
What I want to get out of this course?

• To learn and develop skills 
• To learn more about media and how it is used in the world
• Overall to just keep myself interested in media for especially when i am older

How I will do this course

• focusing and concentrating in lessons 
• communicating with my teacher 
• completing all my work to the best of my abilities on schedule
